The series records the crumbling architecture of the specific bungalows in Rishikesh, Northern India where John, Paul, George, and Ringo stayed in retreat with the Maharishi in February and March 1968. Ostensibly there to study transcendental meditation and yoga they left abruptly amidst personal and financial disagreement. I went there expecting to find a much visited shrine. What I found was quite different.
