Most of what I currently do is for design studios. I also shoot commissions for The Sunday Times, The Telegraph, The Observer and The Guardian Weekend Magazines. My photographs have appeared in magazines the world over, and I’ve contributed to numerous books.
In 2010 I conceived of the idea, and co-directed, I Scored a Goal in the FIFA World Cup Final, a series of short films and a 1 hour documentary, which was produced by Passion Pictures and broadcast world-wide on ESPN. The film was nominated for a Sports Emmy and won a Webby.
The book of the project GOAL! is now an official FIFA book and will be published worldwide, in five languages, in October 2017.
I recently exhibited the only set of contemporary portraits of the Rolling Stones at Castle Fine Arts, in Mayfair.
My portrait of Rolling Stone’s drummer Charlie Watts, was included in the final exhibition of the 2010 Taylor Wessing Photography Prize at the National Portrait Gallery. I won a John Kobal Photographic Portrait Award in 2001, an International Photography Award in New York in 2003, and a Photo Review Award in Philadelphia in 2005. In 2007 I won first prize at Prix de la Photographie, Paris.
I have exhibited at the National Portrait Gallery in London, the Museum Of London, where my work forms part of the permanent collection, in Belfast where I was commissioned to shoot the City Hall’s permanent Centenary Exhibition, in Berlin, New York, Los Angeles, Philadelphia and Paris.
